Even Erika the one that calimed to be the best detective ever was shocked since she didn't had an explanation for this murder.....
certainly it wasn't suicide

Krauss lied dead in Natsuhi's room, with his dear Natsuhi in his arms.

both were found dead in Natsuhi's room.

but this scene wasn't what was shocking Erika....her seals were INTACT yet they appeared dead.....

Not only that, Natsuhi had a napkin with a message saying :

Eva,Kyrie Rosa, Rudold and Hideyoshi searched in all the room.
but it was useless....there was no trace of a key or a device used to open the door.

So this murder is solved, and the culprit could be pretty much anyone.
Does that mean that there's more twilight for this kakera ?

Indoctrination of the Golden Witch
Alrighty, I might as well post an extremely easy game for you all. Well, it should be easy, I hope.
Naturally, I won't bother with character interactions or anything like that. Just summarized form. Also, keep in mind that the murders will start (and end) on Day 1. (Why waste time, after all?) Also - I'm not really going by the twilights here. Think of this as a basic whodunnit.
So let's get started:

The Ushiromiya family arrives for the annual family conference on Rokkenjima. To make it simple, let's say that in this universe Ushiromiya Rosa does not exist. The extension of this would be: Ushiromiya Maria was never born and does not exist. All the other members of the family that have been established to exist in the normal Umineko universe still exist, alive or dead. Those people are: Battler, Kyrie, Hideyoshi, Eva, Krauss, Natsuhi, Kinzo, Rudolf, George and Jessica. The servants from the standard Umineko universe still exist and exist on the island, alive or dead.

During this time, the cousins have gathered in the guesthouse and unpacking. The adults have left for the mansion. At this moment in time, George, Battler and Jessica are in Guest Room 1. Shannon and Kanon are in the servant's room. Genji and Nanjo are in Kinzo's study. The adults are gathered in the parlor of the mansion and are discussing the issue of inheritance. Ghoda and Kumasawa are talking in the kitchen.

The clouds are starting to gather. A storm appears to be coming.
A shipwreck occurs and detective Furudo Erika is washed on the shore. She makes her way to the guesthouse, where she is given clothes and introduced to the cousins and servants.

Erm, well, I tried to give it on some occasions, if memory serves me correctly (if I had to guess, I probably made them too vague or something). And yeah, I think I'll make another game, one that won't use loopholes (the irony is, I actually don't like those kinds of games, either...), but until then, I think I'm better off trying to solve one, at the moment.

Well, it's usually best to put the clues in the original "story' I think.

If you want to participate in a game, well Lion said he would prepare a new kakera after his last, but it seems he has other things to take care of. I'm personally finally typing my gameboard in. It will be much smaller than what I had originally in mind but at least I'll be able to finish it this way. Don't get your hopes up though, It will take a long time to be done because of my laziness

Yeah, I also like games that have most or all of the clues in the narrative.

I have a fairly complicated board that will turn up on here sooner or later, I just need to iron out a couple of plot kinks.

The rain was falling through the window and Rosa was already having regrets about Maria`s Cold. Maria got it while looking for her rose

George Battler and Jessica supposedly were taking care of her.

She herself asked them to take care of that. However that was 3 hours ago.

Kyrie told Rosa that Maria should be fine and that she should not bother them until tomorrow.

Natsuhi told her with a quiet and nice smile. that she should see if they are okay

Eva and Hideyoshi were quiet as if they were nervous

and Krauss and Rudolf acted as if they did something wrong.

Rosa then decided to see the cousins. So she left the room, and went to the guest house.

I'm against the idea of the culprits being already known. We, as players, will be able to bend our theories and try to basically make everything fit with them as culprits, eventually reaching the solution with guesswork.

In my opinion, you should make a new one from scratch.

...Besides, while it may be interesting, knowing the culprit from the get-go isn't very fun to me.

I would gladly accept another challenge hihi.

Oh, maybe I'm missing something there, but what exactly did the culprit prepare?

Someone had TOO much time to prepare the room for the murders

I imagine it has to do with:
> She herself asked them to take care of that. However that was 3 hours ago.

Well, that, or it was referring to the fact that Natsuhi pretty much lives on the island and could've had everything set up long before the family conference...

This thread has been created to talk about our beloved ( For most ) Umineko.
After much discussion following KnownoMore's infamous videos countering the silly "official" Shkannontrice explanation, it seems that we are in need of a battlefield to clear our mind and settle this all.

Knowledge of the original novel is of course needed, so George-san, you're out, sorry !

I, your host, am of course against this silly theory which doesn't make any sense, as such I will, helped by the VN red truths, try to prove how this theory is impossible.
Obviously, what is said in red is the truth.
Your goal will be to prove the Shkannontrice theory, but if you want to go against it I suppose there's no harm, just don't go saying nonsense. Of course anon-kun is forced to go with it ~

Oh, and for those of you who don't know what the Shkannontrice theory is, it's the belief that the culprit is the servant Yasu, which has two personnalities : Shannon and Kanon. Silly, right ~?
If you still don't get it just google it.

Well, I think we can cut right into the cake, right ? Let's begin !
This is from EP3, 1st twilight :

I think it would be very hard for Yasu (if she existed) would have told Battler everything at some point during the two days. That's why I think the parts that Battler can't possibly know himself must prove that the games we are shown aren't exactly what the letters contain.

I'm sure I could compile a very long list of things Battler knew when it should have been impossible for him, and in doing so show what Yasu must have told him (by the official explanation).

Still, even if I find it unlikely I can't dispute the possibility. I resign again. Maybe all this is true...

For the record, the scene at the very end where Battler and Beatrice talk on the boat seems to strongly give the impression that Battler already totally understands her at that point.

I don't find that scene very believable at all. Why would Battler be fine with a ride on a small motorboat without his usual fear of falling?

I find it odd too, but I don't see why the scene would be there if there wasn't some truth to it, even if it may be embellished somewhat.

And Battler did seem okay on the boat once the captain slowed down a bit.

I have to agree with RIKA-Beatrice there, even with all the howdunnits solved, I can't make a fitting theory for the who and whydunnits.
This truly was a great gameboard.

It's a shame Kinjo forgot to check some of the primordials red though, to have come up with this silly theory.
Well, who am I to say that even though I don't even have a theory ?

Thank you, and yes I will reveal the answer.

With the way the game ended, I've decided it will be best to reveal the answer in a different fashion. To elaborate; early near the start of this game's progression, Kinjo informed me he would convert this into a visual novel fan-game once it was done(i.e. like his "When the Seacats Cry").

It seems the most fitting this way because I can have the game end how I intended(if Kinjo had beat Erika and went back to the gameboard etc). This should be a good way to reveal the answer along with some epic grand finales.
After all, we already have all the images, music, and script needed to convert it.

So, if anyone is dying to know the answer you'll have to wait until then.

Good game, Ozaki.

After telling me the answer it really is a well-crafted gameboard. I wish I had done better before the Meta-World section but I guess I'm just not cut out for being a detective.

See you next time, when the seacats cry.
